ORA-00253 signals that the destination name specified for archiving the redo log information is too long. The maximum length for a path name and file name is either operating system specific or is determined by an operating system limitation such as the Microsoft Windows API.

当使用 Oracle 数据库中的“ Alter Database Archive Log Mode ”时，指定的归档目录路径超过了系统所允许的最大字符数的长度限制，便会出现这个错误提示。
